Dr. Sanjay Gogoi has a vast experience in Uro- Oncology with comprehensive Adult & Paediatric Urological Cancer Management, Nephron Sparing Surgery with both Robotic and Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy. He specialises in ’zero-ischaemia’ partial nephrectomy, Radical Cystectomy and Neobladder using conventional and minimal invasive system, Nerve Sparing Cystectomy in males. He is an expert in the treatment of Advanced Renal Cancer including IVC thrombectomy, metastasectomy, etc.
He also has over 8 years of experience in doing ROBOTIC SURGERY with over 500 cases under his belt. He is currently the Proctor in robotic surgery.
Expert in Pediatric Urology as well, he has got excellent outcomes in Reconsructive surgeries li ke Hypospad ias re pairs, with reoperation rates of fewer than 2%. Peer recognised specialist for repair of ‘hypospadias crippIes’, Exstrophy, NeobIadders and Mitrofanoff’s procedure. He also specialises in robotic surgery.
He has over a decade of experience in Kidney transplants, performing over 1500 cases, with results comparable to international standards. He has performed one of the highest numbers of Paediatric Renal Transplants and specialises in minimally invasive procedures like Laparoscopic and Robotic Kidney Transplants(Manipal Hospitals being one of the few centres across the globe that performs Robotic Kidney Transplants).
